I like creating unconventional printmaking techniques. For example, I have printed using an industrial compactor instead of a printing press, and used a saw and an angle grinder to create interesting line work on block printing plates. I make printing plates from cardboard, adhesive tape, wooden boards and found materials. My prints are usually not representative, though compositions are often inspired by photographs. I focus on making richly textured surfaces. A lot of the pieces I make are one off prints, I am more interested in getting unexpected results than making perfect editions.
